Elliot Greenebaum is a Licensed Psychoanalyst working in private practice in Brooklyn, New York.

Elliot received a BA in Philosophy from Amherst College and an MFA from New York University. He began training in psychoanalysis at the Psychoanalytic Association Of New York in 2014 and trained at the Contemporary Freudian Society from 2016 through 2022. He currently studies the treatment of addictions and compulsions at the William Alanson White Institute.

Before becoming a psychotherapist, Elliot produced original film work that was featured in NYTimes Magazine, the Guardian, National Public Radio, Public Radio International, and The Charlie Rose Show. He currently creates educational videos about psychotherapy for the American Psychoanalytic Association — and his TikTok and YouTube channels about therapy have thousands of subscribers and exceed 1 million views.
